Senryu

 

 

downsizing plans
the split in the
bosses trousers

 

alzheimer’s ward
in a moment our souls
meet within

 

lumpy socks
stepping on my
to-do list

 

tangled up in blue
arrested again on
a protest march

 

valium by the bed
even my mother’s
dreams are slurred
