Senryu

melancholy thistle
the heartache
in mother’s song

builders’ butt
rain seeps to the bottom
of the gulley

mosquito
the comments I get
on social media

potholes
she fills every silence
with her advice

driving
on the wrong side
ex-pats after brexit
